Claire really does make it about me....Maximum number of people in class is three so there is very individualized training, feels like one on one training. I have been training with her for a couple of years and my flexibility has definitely improved. She is quick to compliment success and watches for proper form so that success can happen. I was referred to Claire Maund about 3 years ago since I was recovering from shoulder surgery. I needed someone to design a program for me which would help me strengthen but who would pay attention to me not doing too much. I have been training with her every week since and she has been great! Claire is an amazing fitness instructor! Walking into her studio was one of the best decisions I have made. I love that Claire's studio is small and intimate - at most there are only 2 other clients working out with me. I had always been active but a little on the shy side - I didn't like working out in front of people... that all went away when I started coming here. Claire always mixes up our routine but keeps the staples because they do WONDERS for your body! I have never been so toned, strong and flexible in my life. I just took my first pilates class at Corecraft. For a while I have been interested in pilates reformer and TRX but I am not into the "gym" environment. I was referred to this pilates studio by a friend of mine who was absolutely in love with the pilates workout she received from Claire. I went to the studio with high expectations of getting a good pilates workout and being guided by a great pilates instructor and that is exactly what happened. I loved the workout, I loved the instructor, and I especially loved the personalized atmosphere. I seriously felt like I was being instructed by my own personal pilates fitness coach throughout the entire workout. I highly recommend this jewel and while I would rather keep this san diego pilates studio to myself I have to share!!! Melissa S.
